Who We Are
The history of CPL dates back to 2018 when it was inspired by the Holy Spirit as a small interdenominational prayer ministry. Beginning with just 29 members, it focused on prayers, fasting, teachings, preaching, charity work, and evangelization. Today, CPL has grown significantly, attracting members within and beyond Zambia's borders, with approximately 200 attendees on Zoom and WhatsApp, and 1,000 regular Telegram members.
CPL is an association of Christians united under the provisions of the Societies Act, complementing the Zambian government's declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation. Officially launched in December 2020 in Lusaka, it was duly registered in 2022 under the Societies Act Cap 119 of the laws of Zambia.
With members across Zambia, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, the United States, South Africa, Malawi, and other nations, CPL works to fulfill Jesus' prayer for Christian unity. Our mission is to establish indigenous ministries among unreached people groups to transform lives through the Gospel.
As an evangelical ministry, CPL upholds the Bible as God's true Word and aligns all vision, structure, and ministries with Scripture. Our deepest passion is pursuing God's heart - investing fully in soul-winning and emulating the first Christians' lifestyle of generosity, love, care, and burden-sharing (Acts 2:42-47).
Guided by our 2021-2025 strategic plan, CPL remains focused on our vision and mission. This plan unites our ministry, staff, and partners around common goals that maximize our Kingdom impact.
Officially launched in December 2020 and registered in 2022, CPL supports Zambia's Christian Nation declaration, while uniting believers worldwide. Our mission is clear: win souls, transform lives, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
We’re active in over 8+ communities, impacting lives through prayer, teaching, charity, and digital ministry — with a strategic plan guiding us from 2020 to 2025 for greater Kingdom impact.
